Mason just lost it all. His long-term partner has been cheating on him for years, his company laid him off, and he’s got nowhere left to turn in Chicago, so he's heading back to Milwaukee to stay with his sister. To say their relationship is strained doesn't come close to the truth, and don’t get him started with her husband, or their Lord and Savior, hung on the wall.
After a miserable night and even more awkward morning, he heads to a café nearby, where he makes an unexpected connection with the waitress. Of course, he dismisses her invitation out later that evening, but a day of failed apartment hunting follows, and then an explosive argument with his sister’s husband at dinner pushes him over the edge. What harm could a few drinks do, anyway?
But it doesn't take long for a hot guy to walk into the bar, and a few too many glimpses give him away to her.
Will this be another failed connection? And is he ready to try again so soon after breaking up? She’s dragging him by the wrist. Guess he’ll find out.
