Cover Art for Marsha, You're Fired. Scene depicts a man and woman kissing over the skyline of Lincoln, Nebraska. The Nebraska State Capitol is at the bottom center of the page in white and red. A man in a backwards baseball cap is to the left, looking up at the couple, and a small red girl is to the right, also looking up at the couple. Red flags are flying over the Sharp Building. A deep blue composes the background. A peregrine falcon is flying towards the title.

Nebraska is no place to be gay...

Or at least that's what some laws say.

Marsha is a single mother, struggling to make ends meet. Her life is nothing short of a disaster, and she has failed everyone she loves, especially her daughter.

If only everything could change...

On a particularly horrible day, she makes the otherwise unimaginable decision to contact her daughter's father. But when her assumptions about him are proven wrong, her world upends itself. Now, she has a second chance. But can the love of her life get over the pain she has caused him? Can she and her daughter's father get past their differences? And will she garner the courage to face that gothic tower looming overhead?

It's worth a try, right?
