Cover Art for Marsha, You're Fired. Scene depicts a man and woman kissing over the skyline of Lincoln, Nebraska. The Nebraska State Capitol is at the bottom center of the page in white and red. A man in a backwards baseball cap is to the left, looking up at the couple, and a small red girl is to the right, also looking up at the couple. Red flags are flying over the Sharp Building. A deep blue composes the background. A peregrine falcon is flying towards the title.

Nebraska is no place to be gay, or at least that's what some laws say.

Marsha, a single mother, is struggling to make ends meet despite her best efforts. Her life is nothing short of a disaster, and she has failed everyone she loves, especially her daughter. To top it all off, a mistake long ago lost her the only man she ever loved.
